Build it. Beat it.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

Great Ormond Street Hospital is undertaking the biggest fundraising challenge of a generation – a capital appeal to raise £300 million to build a world-class new Children’s Cancer Centre.

Cancer is the biggest killer of children. The problem is devastatingly clear – so we created a clear, determined proposition to help provide the solution. If you can help build a new home for GOSH’s break-through treatments, you can help beat cancer for more children.

Build it. Beat it. is packed with ambition and confidence. It’s a solution-focused capital appeal, with children at its heart. We began by gathering audience and market insight and developing a campaign strategy to inform the initial look and feel and name for the campaign. We then created a full campaign toolkit, providing GOSH’s internal teams with everything they need to activate the appeal across a nationwide range of audiences and channels. And our launch film set the scene for five years of incredible fundraising and participation.

We collaborated with the charity’s in-house production team and animation studio Broken Antler to bring our film to life. Actress Sophie Okonedo provided the voice over. It’s the start of a rallying cry to encourage everyone to take part – to bake it, run it, play it, donate it, fund it… to Build it. Beat it.
